Data that you provide during the application process or job alert creation: contact details, experience and education, attachments, and screening question answers.
Your IP address.
Your login information (email address and encrypted password) for your candidate account.
Cookies that allow us to understand how our services are accessed and used.
Manage your job opportunities: when you apply to one of our client companies, you may access a personal space to view your profile and track your applications.
Receive job suggestions available through Talent2Africa.
Conduct surveys: Talent2Africa may contact you to gather feedback on our features and user experience.
Improve and develop our services and products to the extent necessary.
In these cases, Talent2Africa acts as data controller.
Important: when you apply to our clients' jobs, the recruiter or hiring manager may consider you for any opportunity and use Talent2Africa tools to track, manage and make decisions. In this case, the client is the data controller and Talent2Africa is the data processor. For any questions about how a client uses your data, please contact them directly.
We rely on your consent as the legitimate basis for processing. You may withdraw it at any time by deleting your candidate account.
Your profile is visible to the client company you applied to. You may receive job alerts from these companies.
To provide high-quality services, Talent2Africa uses third-party providers for data hosting, statistical analysis and technical support. These providers are bound by strict contractual confidentiality obligations.
Talent2Africa will never sell, rent or lease your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Right of access: you can view your profile and all your applications from your account.
Right to rectification: you can update your profile at any time in your account settings.
Right to erasure: you may request deletion of your profile and applications. Talent2Africa will forward your request to the relevant companies. Some may retain your data under their legal obligations (e.g. evidence in case of dispute). For more information, contact them directly.
Right to data portability: you can export your data in a machine-readable format.
Right to object and restrict processing: you are free to create or delete your candidate account. You may still apply to jobs without creating an account.
